So this is an awesome way to cook bacon:
I made it up (well at least i have never heard of it) the other day when I didnt have an extra pan to fry my bacon.
Lay your strips of bacon on a 1 inch deep cookie sheet, its ok to over lap
Bake them for 8 min on 350 degrees and then take 'em out and move them around.
Broil the bacon for about 6 min, take them out and movve around
Broil one last time for 6 min
Put them on a plate covered with paper towel
This is the best way to cook 'em, I will never fry bacon again, they taste so yummy this way!

Low-fat French Toast
You know sometimes, you just want to satisfy that sweet tooth before it gets out of control and that's what I just had to do last night for dinner. So we had FRENCH TOAST. It is my favorite thing in the world. And my little boy LOVES it too. Who can resist sweet syrup breath from your baby after dinner. LOVE IT!
It's so easy:
I get a small flat casserole dish and add
3/4 cup milk (skim or 1% if you're watching your wasteline)
3 eggs ( or 2 - you won't even know the difference)
1 tablespoon of sugar (I used splenda and you couldn't even tell!)
pinch of salt (which probably isn't necessary)
and CANNOT forget the cinnamon-that's the best part. Add to your liking.
Get some yummy bread and dip and cook on pan or griddle (375 degrees).
Serve w/ butter (light margarine) and syrup (you can even do sugar-free).
Makes 8-ish slices give or take.
I got this from my Betty Crocker cook book, but added the healthy part.

Tin Foil dinners
The night before you go camping:
*Make 2 small meatloafs (per person) with your hamburger and wrap in 3 layers of foil use catsup to eat
*Slice your potatoes like french fries-thick, salt and pepper, we used red tatoes and wrap all potatoes seperate from other food 3 layers
*Slice baby carrots down middle, salt pepper, wrap 3 layers seperate
*Slice zuchinni like in picture, salt pepper butter, wrap 3 layers seperate.
Put in cooler to take camping
To cook:
Place on hot coals in camp fire, it took about 20-25 min to cook each thing, you can take out and check on them.
We did something new by not placing all the things together in 1 tin foil pouch, but did it family style and it turned out so good. It works best this way, lets say you do it all in the same pouch and the carrots get done before the meat so you have to throw the entire thing back on and burn your carrots. Plus doing all the prep at home meant more time playing while camping. We LOVED this meal so much we may actually make a fire pit in our back yard to do it again!

Sautee Squash
We LOVE this!
Take zuccchini Squash and Yellow crook neck squash and cut it into rounds (like the shape of a penny) about 1/8 of an inch thick.
But some butter or marg in a fry pan and mix them and sautee them for about 10 minutes on medium heat.
We like to put seasoned salt, or just salt and pepper on them after...........so yummy!

Secret way to peel a Banana
Peel a banana from the bottom and you won't have topick the little 'stringy things' off of it. That's how the primates do it.
Reheat Pizza
Heat up leftover pizza in a nonstick skillet on top of the stove, set heat to med-lowand heat till warm. This keeps the crust crispy. No soggy micro pizza.

Buy fresh or frozen Brussel Sprouts

Buy the lil' baby franks (they are like an inch long)
Buy cresant dough (its in that tube thing)
To prepare:
- Open the dough and cut/slice each triangle
- Take your frank and start and the fatter end of the dough and just role it
- Place on a cookie sheet
- Bake as long as the dough Package says, Just as a side note watch them cause they may not need that long, you want the dough to be golden
Sometimes we put a piece of cheese in with the frank to add a little extra flavor
Easy Deviled Eggs
Put cooked egg yolks in a zip lock bag. Seal, mash till they are all broken up. Add remainder of ingredients, reseal, keep mashing it up mixing thoroughly, cut the tip of the baggy, squeeze mixture into egg. Just throw bag away when done easy clean up.
Zucchini Eggs
This is a favorite for me and my fam. Its an awesome way to eat from your garden.
- Take your Zucchini and cheese grater and cut one end off of the zucchini and grate as much as you would like, if the skin is tough then take of the skin first
- Get your eggs cracked into a bowl and mix
- In a skillet (prefer a non stick )on the stove:
- Put the zucchini in and just stir for 3 min
- Add your eggs and mix and keep on heat until eggs are cooked, salt and pepper
If you want you can put cheese on top, I like it better without, but some like it better with
