Egg Tip

To really make scrambled eggs or omelets rich add a couple ofspoonfuls of sour cream, cream cheese, or heavy cream in and then beat them up.

Cut the fat

Add a teaspoon of water when frying ground beef.It will help pull the grease away from the meat while cooking.

Expanding Frosting

When you buy a container of cake frosting from the store, whip it with your mixerfor a few minutes. You can double it in size. You get to frost more cake/cupcakeswith the same amount. You also eat less sugar and calories per serving.

Chicken Broccoli Braid

Hey, this is Camille!I made this the other night and my husband just loved it! He even took some to work the next day, which he doesn't usually do...

Chicken Broccoli Braid

2 c chicken, cooked & shredded
1 c broccoli, cooked about 7 min.
1 15 oz. Grand's Crescent rolls
1 c mild cheddar cheese, grated
1/2 c mayo
2 tsp dill mix
1/4 tsp salt
1 clove garlic, grated

-Mix all ingredients except crescent rolls, and garlic
-Arrange two rows of crescent rolls down cookie sheet, (trade off, one with shortest side facing left, the next with shortest side facing right, one underneath another going down the pan.)
-Scoop filling down the middle of each row
-Pull crescent tips inward to form a braid (filling will be showing through braid).
-Add garlic over the top. Bake at 350 degrees for 18 - 20 mins.

That was sent to us from Camille- Thanks so much Camillie! It sounds way yummy!

a tad more flavor goes a long way

Just as a tip- when makin rice use chicken broth. I use like 3/4 broth and 1/4 water. My hubby points out each time how much he loves it. You'll be surpised, and I promise you will love it too!
